The Belanjawanku app serves as a user-friendly tool to access the guide. It provides detailed information on minimum expenses across various household categories and offers recommendations for fund allocation towards necessities, optional spending, and personal savings.

EPF Chairman Tan Sri Ahmad Badri Mohd Zahir emphasized the significance of financial management. He cited statistics showing a lack of adherence to budgets and difficulties in setting aside emergency funds among Malaysians.
Aim of the Belanjawanku Guide
The Belanjawanku guide aims to enhance Malaysians’ financial literacy. It was developed through a collaborative effort between EPF and Universiti Malaya’s Social Wellbeing Research Centre (SWRC).
